Excellent evergreen hedge or screening plant. Full sun. Moderate grower to 15 feet tall, 3 to 4 feet wide. Cutting grown. Zones 4-8

Thuja orientalis 'Westmont' (Westmont Arborvitae) - Compactly branched evergreen shrub prized for its globe shape and dark green foliage tipped with bright yellow coloring spring through fall. Use in pairs or groups, in a border, or in formal rows. Full to partial sun. Slow grower to 3 feet tall, 2 feet wide. No pruning necessary. Cutting grown. Zones 6-9

Viburnum plicatum tomentosum 'Popcorn' (Popcorn Viburnum) – Profuse clusters of small, popcorn-ball-shaped blooms line each branch in spring. Attractive, deeply-veined green foliage turns red to purple in fall. Lovely hedge or foundation plant. Full sun. 6 feet tall, 6 feet wide. Zones 5-9

Weigela folrida 'Verweig' (My Monet Weigela) – A dwarf variegated Weigela with magenta flowers. Variegation changes depending on light exposure. In shade, variegation will be whiter than the pink variegation if in full sun. 2 feet tall, 2 feet wide. Zones 4-8

Yucca filamentosa 'Golden Sword' (Golden Sword Yucca) - A rosette of yellow-centered sword-like green leaves topped by tall spikes of fragrant, ivory white blooms. Forms dramatic clumps with age. Use to create contrasting textures as a garden accent. Evergreen. Full sun. Forms clumps to 3 to 4 feet tall, 5 feet wide, flower spikes 4 to 6 feet tall. Division and tissue culture. Zones 4-9
